首席コンサートマスター　長原 幸太

1981年、広島県呉市に生まれる。東京芸術大学附属音楽高等学校を卒業後、同大学に進学。その間に全額スカラシップを受け、ジュリアード音楽院に留学。

92年、93年と連続して全日本学生音楽コンクール全国第１位。94年ヴィエニアフスキー国際ヴァイオリンコンクール17歳以下の部第3位。 98年日本音楽コンクール最年少優勝。五嶋みどりレクチャーコンサートで奨励賞を受賞し、ニューヨークに招待され、五嶋みどり氏のレッスンを受ける。

またサイトウ・キネン若い音楽家の為の勉強会で小澤征爾指揮のもとコンサートマスターやソリストを務め、サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラにも最年少参加。 12歳で東京交響楽団と共演したのを皮切りに、日本各地の主要オーケストラや、小澤征爾、岩城宏之、秋山和慶、ゲルハルト・ボッセ等の名指揮者と共演。ソリストとしての他、 室内楽奏者、オーケストラのゲストコンサートマスターとしても活躍。またアルゲリッチ国際音楽祭、宮崎国際音楽祭、やまなみ国際音楽祭等、各地の音楽祭にも出演。 また演奏を通じてのボランティア活動にも力を入れている。

広島市長賞「広島フェニックス賞」、広島県教育長賞「メイプル賞」受賞、広島国際文化財団「ヒロシマ・スカラシップ'98」、広島ホームテレビ文化・スポーツ賞（最年少受賞）、東京芸大の福島賞等、受賞多数。

これまでに村上直子、小栗まち絵、工藤千博、澤和樹、ロバート・マンの各氏に師事。

2004年9月、大阪フィルハーモニー交響楽団首席客演コンサートマスターに就任、2006年４月より首席コンサートマスターとなる。

Principal Concertmaster: NAGAHARA Kota

NAGAHARA Kota was born in Kure city, Hiroshima in 1981. He graduated the Music Senior High School in Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. After going on to the University he received a full scholarship to study abroad at Juilliard School.

In 1992 and 1993 he continuously won the All-Japan Student Contest. In 1994 he came third at Wieniawski International Violin Contest in the under 17 category, and in 1998 he won the National Music Contest at the youngest age. He also received the encouragement award at GOTO Midori lecture concert, and was invited to New York for her lesson.

NAGAHARA has played at "Saito Kinen Study conference for young musicians" as a concertmaster and soloist, and also joined the Saito Kinen Orchestra at the youngest age. After performing with Tokyo Symphony Orchestra at the age of 12, he collaborated with various major orchestras in Japan, and also with conductors such as OZAWA Seiji, IWAKI Hiroyuki, AKIYAMA Kazuyoshi, and Gerhard Bosse. He actively plays not only as a soloist, but also as a chamber music player and a concertmaster. He has participated in many music festivals at various locations such as Martha Argerich Music Festival, Miyazaki International Music Festival, and Yamanami International Music Festival.

He actively performs abroad and receives high recognitions at various concerts. In spring 2003, he was invited as a concertmaster and a soloist for the London tour for Tokyo Geidai Symphonia. In the same year he was invited to the annual Lake District Summer Music for recitals and chamber music concerts. In 2005 he was invited to Lake District again, as well as Ryedale Festival where he got highly appraised.

NAGAHARA has received various awards including the "Hiroshima Phoenix Award", the award of the Mayor of Hiroshima city, the "Maple Award", the award of the superintendent of education in Hiroshima, Hiroshima International Cultural Foundation "Hiroshima Scholarship '98", Hiroshima Home Television Culture and Sports Award (Awarded at the youngest age), and the "Sakuya Konohana Award". He has studied under MURAKAMI Naoko, OGURI Machie, KUDO Chihiro, SAWA Kazuki, and Robert Mann. In September 2004 he has joined Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra as a guest principal concert master, and in April 2006 he became the principal concertmaster.

崔 文洙（チェ・ムンス）

3歳よりピアノ、6歳よりヴァイオリンを始め、篠崎功子、久保田良作、江藤俊哉の各氏に師事。桐朋学園子供のための音楽教室を経て、1983年桐朋学園大学ディプロマコース入学。在学中の翌年より1988年までの4年間、安田謙一郎弦楽四重奏団のメンバーとして活躍する。

1988年、ソビエト政府奨学金を受けチャイコフスキー記念国立モスクワ音楽院に留学。ダヴィド・オイストラフ門下で第一回チャイコフスキーコンクール優勝・ワレリー・クリモフ、ソビエト国立交響楽団第一コンサートマスターであるセルゲイ・ギルシェンコ両氏に師事し、P・ストリァルスキーからD・オイストラフと続くロシアの伝統的メソードを研究する。在学中よりショスタコーヴィチ弦楽四重奏団との共演やソビエト国立交響楽団に度々招かれ研鑽を積み、1994年同音学院を首席で卒業。数年に一度しか与えられない「ソリスト」の称号を外国人として初めて授与される。同時にヴァイオリン教授、室内楽アーティストの称号を取得。

モスクワ音楽院ホール、ラフマニノフホール、レニングラード及びゴーリキーにてリサイタルを開催し高評を博す。1994年より、更に同音楽院の大学院にて研鑽を積み、教授のアシスタントを務める。同教授よりソビエト国立交響楽団のコンサートマスターに推薦されるが、9年間のモスクワ留学を終え1997年に日本に帰国。同年、小澤征爾氏に認められ新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団コンサートマスターに就任。2000年、ソロ・コンサートマスターに就任。指揮者からの信頼は厚く、 国内の他オーケストラからゲストとしての招聘や兼任の要請、またサイトウ・キネン・フェスティバルにおいても度々コンサートマスターを務める。新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団においては楽団の更なる発展に向けて積極的に一役を担う一方で、ソリストとしても数々のコンチェルトを共演。

世界的ヴァイオリン奏者イヴリー・ギトリス氏とバッハ：「二台ヴァイオリンの為のコンチェルト」（2007年）、NJP定期にてショスタコーヴィチ「ヴァイオリンコンチェルト第2番」等、長年ロシアに伝わるヴァイオリン・メソードの日本における唯一の伝承者としてまた、自発的な音楽表現から生み出される気品に満ちた芸術性は高く評価されている。世界的チェリスト・指揮者である芸術家　故ムスティスラフ・ロストロポーヴィチ氏との度重なる共演では「素晴らしいヴァイオリニストにして芸術家である」と称賛される。

Guest Concertmaster : CHOI Munsu

Born in Tokyo, Choi started piano at age of 3, violin at age of 6, and he was trained by Isako Shinozaki, Ryosaku Kubota, and Toshiya Eto. After the music school for children at Toho Gakuen school of music, he entered the diploma course at Toho Gakuen school of music in 1983. From the following year until 1988, he was a member of Yasuda String Quartet. In 1988 he entered Moscow P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a scholarship from Soviet Government.

Choi studied under Valéry Climov, a student of David Oistrakh, and also the winner of the first Tchaikovsky Competition. He also studied under Sergei Girshenko, the first concertmaster in Svetlanov State Academic Orchestra. Therefore he studied the Russian traditional method which was passed down from P. Stolyarsky to D. Oistrakh. During at school, he played with Shostakovich Quartet and Svetlanov State Academic Orchestra a number of times, and graduated the Conservatory at the head of the class. He was the first foreigner to receive the title “Soloist”, which was only given once in few years. At the same time he received the titles of "violin professor", and "Chamber music artist". Recitals at Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Rachmaninov Hall, and at Leningrad and Gorky were very successful. From 1994 Choi became the assistant of the professor in the postgraduate school at the Conservatory. He was recommended as a concertmaster at Svetlanov State Academic Orchestra by the professor, but in 1997 he returned to Japan after 9 years of study in Moscow. In the same year he was invited as a concertmaster at New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra by Seiji Ozawa, and became a solo concertmaster in 2000.

He is trusted by conductors, and was invited by various orchestras in and outside of Japan. He also played as a concertmaster at Saito Kinen Festival several times. He contributes towards the development of New Japan Philharmonic, and at the same time he performs various concertos as a soloist. The examples include; Bruch violin & viola concerto with the world famous violist, Yurii Bashmet, Beethoven violin concerto with Seiji Ozawa conducting (2003), Brahms violin concerto with Christian Arming conducting (2005).

He is the only successor of the traditional Russian violin method in Japan, and his graceful artistry, which comes out from his music expression, is highly evaluated. Examples are Bach concerto for two violins with the world famous violinist, Ivry Gitlis (2007), and Shostakovich violin concerto no.2 in the subscription concert of New Japan Philharmonic. After a number of collaborations with world famous cellist, Mstislav Rostropovich, Choi was praised as "a great violinist and an artist".
